TAIPEI -- Hon Hai's (Foxconn Electronics) first-half net earnings rose 32% year-over-year to NT$31.26 billion (US$944.4 million), on a 35% hike in revenues.

Foxconn, the world's largest ODM, reported sales of NT$510.2 billion (US$15.44 billion).

Gross margin was 5.27%, down from 5.66% during the first half of last year.
