The California Attorney General's office charged five persons, including Dunn and former H-P senior counsel Kevin Hunsaker, with having initiated or employed illegal searches of H-P employees or directors.
According to previous reports and statements,
Dunn wanted to locate the source of media leaks on the H-P board.
Private investigators allegedly accessed the personal phone records of
board members, employees and
journalists by impersonating them,
Dunn and Hunsaker have resigned from the company.
