CHELMSFORD, MA – Ametek has acquired Spectro Scientific for approximately $190 million.

Spectro supplies fluid analysis instrumentation and software and has annual sales of approximately $50 million.

The firm joins Ametek as part of its Electronic Instruments Group (EIG), with annualized sales of $3 billion.
