ATLANTA, GA – CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Magazine today announced Rocket EMS as its EMS Company of the Year for 2019.
The distinction is bestowed annually on EMS companies that have demonstrated profitability and sustained excellence among their peers over a period of years.
Santa Clara, CA-based Rocket EMS was founded in 2011 and has already grown to more than $60 million in annual sales, thanks in large part as its novel approach to managing every detail of its supply chain and in-house operations.
“Rocket EMS is a model for smaller tier EMS companies that want to grow their businesses,” said Mike Buetow, editor-in-chief of CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY in announcing the award. “Founder and CEO Michael Kottke has demonstrated in spades that ingenuity and investment toward developing tools that actually improve productivity – rather than just collecting data – are not exclusive to billion-dollar EMS companies.
“Rocket EMS is a highly deserving to be our twelfth EMS Company of the Year.”
Previous recipients of the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY EMS Company of the Year are AsteelFlash, Creation Technologies, Fabrinet, Firstronic, Jabil, Key Tronic EMS, Kimball Electronics, Lightspeed Technologies, Plexus, STI Electronics and Venture Corp.
