TAIPEI — Some 13,500 Foxconn workers in China will stay home until at least Feb. 13 as a result of China’s viral outbreak.
The Hubei Province government has issued an order for firms to keep their doors closed as fears mount over the coronavirus, which has now affected more than 7,800 globally.
Foxconn said staff across China do not need to return to work until mid-February due to government guidelines.
Also, employees coming from Wuhan are required to self-quarantine in Taiwan.
