MARKHAM, CANADA – EMS provider Microart Services plans to expand its Ontario facility, adding 20,000 sq. ft. to support continued growth. Microart took possession of the newly acquired space on Mar. 3 and expects operations to be in volume production before the end of April.
The new building will offer mechanical assembly, finished goods kanban, direct order fulfilment, repair and refurbishment (AMS), plus customer-specific warehousing services.
“We are extremely excited to expand yet again right in my own hometown,” said CEO Mark Wood.
“This is a natural but progressive move to expand capacity and service offerings to show our customers we are driven to get to ‘yes’ and ‘figure it out’ on their behalf,” said Charles Tonna, executive VP. “It is wonderful to be part of a team that is so flexible toward our customers and industry.”
The company enjoyed annual growth of 15% over the past three years and employs 280 staff across two shifts in two locations.
