COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Radiation Test Solutions has acquired Cobham RAD from Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions for an undisclosed amount in a deal that closed last month.

RTS, which performs design, analysis and testing of semiconductor devices and materials for space and ground applications, retained all 32 Cobham staff, per reports.

Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions said it sold the unit in order to focus on its core competencies in design and manufacture of RF (radio frequency), microwave and millimeter wave solutions, digital processing, and power solutions for space, electronic warfare, radar and missile applications.
