TAIPEI – Foxconn chairman Young Liu said the company will announce its plans for Mount Pleasant, WI, in the next four months, according to reports.

Since the company’s initial announcement to open a factory in Wisconsin in 2017, the site has been scaled back.

Liu said this week Foxconn may be a contract manufacturer of electric cars with Fisker, and the company is debating two options for its electric vehicle hub: Mexico or Wisconsin.

He expects a decision by July 1.
