PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA -- Cambodia has greenlit a pair of investments totaling nearly $5 million combined in new electronics assembly plants, according to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

Yuan Shuo (Cambodia) plans to invest $2.2 million in Tram Kak district, Takeo province, a move that will create an estimated 232 jobs. Yuan Shuo is the Cambodian arm of Dongguan Yuan Shuo Electronics.

Schneitic Chint will invest $2.5 million in a site in Krakor district, Pursat province, and add 62 jobs.
