CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO – Electronics manufacturer Mack Technologies opened a 164,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility here.
The facility, opened after two years of planning and one year of construction, provides Mack with space to double its manufacturing lines in Mexico and is expected to eventually generate over 1,000 additional jobs.
The decision to construct a new facility was fueled by Mack’s increasing demand from existing customers and global interest in Mexico-based manufacturing.
“Mack Technologies Mexico is excited to bring online an advanced manufacturing facility that is poised to grow and meet demand from new and existing customers,” said Oscar Gonzalez, vice president of operations, Mack Technologies, Juarez. “Credit to the team and talent in Juarez for planning and executing a seamless transition from our former site to our new leading-edge manufacturing complex.”
“Mack Technologies is firmly committed to growing its North American capabilities by further developing its manufacturing operations in Mexico,” said Will Kendall, president, Mack Technologies. “The new facility in Ciudad Juarez reflects the achievements of our exceptional team in Mexico and will allow us to continue investing in and expanding our business there.”
The site retains ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications and Mexico’s Clean Industry Certification.
