OSAKA – SIIX reported JPY71.7 billion ($517 million) in sales in the first quarter, a 13.8% increase from last year's first-quarter sales of JPY63 billion ($454.2 million).

Of those sales, JPY14.2 billion ($102 million) were in Japan, JPY17.1 billion ($123 million) were in China, JPY22.4 billion ($161 million) were in members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, JPY4.4 billion ($31.7 million) were in Europe, and JPY13.4 billion ($96.6 million) were in the US.
