SAINT-HERBLAIN, FRANCE – Lacroix has partially restarted production at its plants in France, Germany and Tunisia after they were disrupted by a cyberattack in mid-May. The company expects production to return to normal after a gradual ramp-up.

The three affected plants are part of the company's Electronics segment.

"The Tunisian site was the first to partially restart, enabling us to meet our customers' most urgent needs. The German and French sites then began their gradual recovery," said Louis Pourdieu, executive managing director of Lacroix's Electronic EMEA business.

The company said the analysis of the situation is now clear, and its IT teams, supported by cybersecurity expert partners, are working to rebuild infrastructures using backups. Lacroix said it also worked closely to keep customers informed and reassured, and adapted its production plans as closely as possible to their needs.

While the attack will have a temporary impact on the second quarter, the company said it does not expect any significant repercussion on the financial targets announced for the full 2023 financial year.
