OULU, FINLAND – Scanfil has adjusted its projected turnover and operating downward for 2024, with a new forecast of EUR780 million to EUR840 million ($835 million to $899.2 million) in turnover and an operating profit of EUR 54 million to EUR61 million ($57.8 million to $65.3 million).
"The market demand has been soft in the first half of the year," the company said. "This is due to the destocking and economic uncertainty. Operating profit margin is expected to be at a good level throughout the year."
Scanfil previously estimated that its turnover for 2024 would be EUR820 million to EUR900 million, with an adjusted operating profit of EUR57 million to EUR65 million.
