DELHI, INDIA -- The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Dixon Technologies' acquisition of up to 56% shareholding of Ismartu India Private Ltd.

Dixon is one of India's largest electronics manufacturing services. The acquired unit is Ismartu's Indian EMS subsidiary, which manufactures mobile phones, printed circuit board assemblies, LCD module displays and other ancillary services for mobile phones.
