NORWAY – Kitron reported second-quarter results, with revenue reaching $187.2 million, driven by continued strength in the Defense & Aerospace market and growth in the Industry sector. The company also raised its full-year outlook on the back of strong momentum and newly secured contracts.

Second quarter operating profit totaled $16.3 million, matching last year’s figure and improving from $13.6 million in the first quarter. Kitron’s order backlog reached $553.4 million, up 12% from last year.

Net profit came in at $10.9 million, slightly below the $11.3 million posted in the second quarter last year.

Kitron now expects full-year revenue between $734 million and $788 million, up from the previous range of $694 million to $770 million.
