TORONTO - Celestica Inc.'s March quarter revenue was down 5% year-over-year, to $1.84 billion. The net loss was $34.3 million, about twice what the EMS supplier lost in the first quarter of 2006.

The loss includes an $8 million restructuring charge. Celestica expects restructuring charges of $20 million to $40 million in 2007.

The results were within the range of the company's Jan. 30 guidance.

Celestica guided for June quarter revenue of $1.85 billion to $2.05 billion, saying it sees demand softness in certain end-markets.
