Arena PLM Fall ’06 software comes integrated with Avnet Prómiere’s content through a point-and-click interface. The combined content database consists of data for more than nine million electronic components, including end-of-lifecycle data, RoHS and environmental regulation information, product change notifications and part datasheets.

Uses Skype VoIP software to enable customers to instantly call and text chat with coworkers, suppliers and partners within the context of their PLM environment. Manufacturers can save chat transcripts associated with a product record.
