Equipment Advances Inocart-MSD stores and handles moisture sensitive devices, using an innovative individual cell design to manage multiple component reel sizes and waffle trays in a low relative humidity storage condition.

ImageThe system comes in two configurations, 66 individual cells and 33 individual cells, which disengage from the centralized “hive” when the door is open, permitting environmental control to be maintained in all other cells. This design eliminates factory ambient exposure to all other components in the "safe storage" condition. The system uses multiple forced convection desiccant drying modules capable of reaching very low humidity levels. The multiple drying modules permit automatic regeneration (drying) of desiccant. The low RH levels attained by the system permit effective management of MSD levels of 2, 2a, 3, 4, 5 and 5a. The digital display shows temperature and RH percentage within the material handling system.

Comes with MSD tracking and timing software, which triggers when a package is moved from “safe storage” to factory ambient conditions and starts progressing remaining floor life in accordance with its J-STD-033A MSD level.

Other benefits include an on-screen alarm that indicates when a user-defined percentage of floor life is reached. Conversely the tracking software monitors the regeneration of component floor life when moved from factory ambient condition to safe storage.

The MSD dashboard displays the condition and state of each package in the factory, including assigned MSD level, MSD status, percentage and hours of floor life remaining, as well as quantity and location of parts; and MSD status flags that show parts in factory ambient, safe storage, drying, baking or exceeded allowed floor life conditions.
