BERLIN-MARZAHN, GERMANY – Finetech has opened a production and development center here.

The provider of bonding and rework equipment invested approximately 8 million euro in the facility.

The site consists of a two-story production and office building with an effective area of 20,000 sq. ft., as well as a separate facility to house the 35,000 sq. ft. factory floor.

Specifically designed for working with highly sensitive devices, the new complex contains several ISO 9-6 class cleanrooms.

"The facility will position us for expansion in R&D, product engineering, applications, and support staff for many years to come,” said Neil O’Brien, general manager for Finetech USA. “Our customers will benefit from the expanded cleanroom space for special assembly, sample demonstration, certifications, and detailed application work."
