HOPEDALE, MA -- EMS provider Milford Manufacturing has closed and will be sold at auction.

The company has a long history in EMS, beginning as PAGG Corp. in 1981. The company, which then was located in in Milford, MA, was sold by founder Ed Price to Viasystems in 1999.

Foillowing Viasystems Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in 2002, the company returned the plant to Price in late 2003, who renamed it Milford Manufacturing.

It later relocated to neighboring town, Hopedale, also located in the Boston suburbs.
