ESD-Safe films, tapes and labels protect ESD-sensitive (ESDS) devices.

Max levels of static charge are less than 100V when used in close proximity to ESDS devices. Surface resistances are ≥ 10^6 and ≥10^9 Ohms. Are static dissipative. When liners are removed, they generate less than 50V. When tapes and labels are readjusted during the process or removed post-process, voltage is less than 50V. Films can be used as electrical and/or optical filters or barriers in electronic devices. Are governed by ANSI/ESD S20.20, IEC 61340 JEDEC JESD625B standards.
