Alusol-SN and Alusol-SN-X solder pastes have been developed for soft soldering and tinning of aluminium and aluminium alloys with pure tin and formulated so no separate solder feed is necessary.

Have processing temp. of 250°C up to max. of 450°C. Reportedly produce clean and stable solder joints without pre- and post-treatment. Are applied with brush. Overlaps should be slightly coated. Application condition is achieved by heating in oven or by hot air, flame, or piston to min. 250°C. Spread well on surfaces of workpieces and penetrate well into soldering gaps and cavities. Water-soluble flux residues can be removed by immersing still warm workpiece in cold or lukewarm water. Different thermal expansion coefficients of materials and flux residues cause them to separate from metallic workpiece. Are offered in 50g brush bottle or 300g bottle.
