BANGKOK – Fabrinet reported revenue for its fiscal second quarter of $188.4 million, up 5.5% year-over-year.

For the period ended Dec. 26, GAAP net income was $8.7 million, down 40% compared same quarter in fiscal 2014. Non-GAAP net income was $14.4 million, a decrease of 10% year-over-year.

“Our fiscal second quarter results demonstrate our commitment to profitably growing our business while making key investments for the future. These investments are beginning to bear fruit, as we had another quarter of strong revenue growth from new customers,” said CEO Tom Mitchell.

The EMS company expects fiscal third-quarter revenue to be in the range of $181 million to $185 million.
