TVER, RUSSIA – Jabil shut down operations at its site here, notifying some 90 Russian staff, according to reports.

The company has more than 3,000 employees in Ukraine, with support from other European countries, and is working to minimize the impact of the recent closure to customers.

Manufacturing sites in Uzhgorod, Poland, and Tiszaújváros, Hungary, are assisting Ukrainian employees with relocation, transportation, temporary housing, financial assistance, food and mental health support.

The company’s staff has assisted with more than 45 border crossings, while 30 staff members in Poland have taken in refugees.

Jabil also has established a Ukraine Relief Fund. Jabil is matching 100% of the money raised. Jabil employees donated some $200,000, and customers, suppliers, friends and family donated an additional $80,000, after a recent campaign.
