PATHUMTHANI, THAILAND -- SVI Public Co. is back up and running at full capacity following a devastating fire in November.
The company's two facilities in Bangkadi Industrial Park are now operational, the EMS company said.
The repairs involved the complete recontruction of one the company's two plants at BIP, plus new equipment at both sites. SVI said that with the new equipment the companby will be able to surpass pre-fire volume and quality levels.
All pre-fire customers have remained with SVI and are increasing orders, the firm added.
SVI did not comment on whether its backup plant in Nonthaburi province would remain operational. The facility was brought online immediately after the fire wrecked the BIP campus.
