CORONA, CA – Aqueous Technologies has released a 26-page guide to cleaning contaminants from printed circuit boards.

The Cleaning and Contamination (Equipment and Environment) Guide includes sections on the history of cleaning; the "end" of cleaning; the ECM cookbook; modern cleaning methods, and modern cleaning challenges. The guide shares best practices for cleaning, protecting the environment, choosing chemicals and other process decisions. Additionally, contamination failure mechanisms are covered.

It was authored by the firm’s CEO, Michael Konrad, and available for free download at www.aqueoustech.com/cleaning-book-1.

Konrad has published dozens of articles on cleaning and cleanliness testing, including in CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY, and has been a member of industry committees on stencil cleaning and the IPC Cleaning Handbook.
