SVI to Build Camera Assembly Factory in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA – Electronics manufacturer SVI Public Ltd. is set to build a factory here for security camera assembly. The cameras will be exported to Europe.
The Ministry of Commerce says SVI is currently training 200 Cambodians in Bangkok to work at the subsidiary after it’s built, according to reports.
A June 9 company statement said a Cambodian subsidiary was approved with a registered capital of $1 million. No other financial details
are known.
