Raven to Shutter St. Louis Area EMS Ops

EARTH CITY, MO -- Raven Industries will close its facility here by next fall and lay off 58 workers.
The move is being made as the company integrates its contract assembly operations into its other divisions.
The St. Louis area site will be shuttered by Aug. 31, the company said, due to lower sales for EMS work. The plant primarily makes circuit boards and remote controls for adjustable beds.
Raven will sell the property upon closing the factory.
