ATLANTA, GA – CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY magazine today announced Jabil Circuit as its EMS Company of the Year for 2015.

The distinction is bestowed annually on EMS companies that have demonstrated profitability and sustained excellence among their peers.

St. Petersburg, FL, USA-based Jabil has a 49-year track record of growth across multiple markets. From automotive to PCs to medical and even hospitality, Jabil has a long history of not only adapting to the times but actively shaping new markets. It has shown consistent profitability and industry-leading margins among mid- to large-sized EMS companies, and has thrived through multiple top leadership changeovers.

“Jabil is showing real vision in extending its customer reach well outside the traditional EMS market,” said Mike Buetow, editor-in-chief of CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY. “While its profitability and strategic decision-making have significantly outclassed its peer group over a long period of time, what’s more remarkable is its willingness to reshape the ODM/EMS model into something far beyond circuit board assembly, and its ability to do so profitably.”

Jabil is the first Top Tier EMS company to be honored by CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY. It joins AsteelFlash, Fabrinet, Creation Technologies, Key Tronic EMS, Lightspeed Technologies, Plexus and Venture Corp. in the select group of winners of the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY EMS Company of the Year.
