Asys Takes Majority Stake in Super Dry Totech
DORNSTADT, GERMANY -- Asys Group has acquired a majority share in Super Dry Totech, effective May 4.
Financial and other terms were not disclosed.
Asys said the acquisition will strengthen and further build the business area of material logistics with the broadened product portfolio. Super Dry Totech is a manufacturer of dry storage equipment such as desiccant dry cabinets and automated handling and storage systems.
“The Dry Tower fits perfectly into the area of material logistics which is a concept we want to grow and was a major factor in the buying decision. We are building on our vision of a fully interconnected production process, which includes material logistics as a main topic," said Werner Kreibl, CEO of Asys. "Totech will benefit from the global sales network of the Asys, enabling them to grow the business internationally."
Super Dry Totech CEO Jos Brehler added, "Our new partnership will enable Super Dry to more rapidly advance that business and technology, while providing Asys with a new and important element for their complete line logistics development,".
Super Dry Totech will become part of Asys's Cleanroom Technology subsidiary.
