NEWARK, NY – IEC Electronics posted fiscal third-quarter revenue of $34.4 million, up 4% year-over-year and 5% sequentially.

The contract electronics manufacturer reported a net loss of $4 million for the period, compared to a net loss of $60,000 in the same quarter in 2014.

Revenues for the nine months ended June 26 decreased 2% to $98.3 million compared to the same period last year. The year-to-date net loss was $10.3 million, compared to a net loss of $16.1 million in fiscal 2014.

“We are making steady progress executing the strategies we've put in place to stabilize our business, reestablish the confidence of our customers and return to operational excellence,” said Jeffrey T. Schlarbaum, IEC’s president and CEO. “We were able to reduce our net debt by approximately $3 million during the quarter.”
