BANNOCKBURN, IL – Total North American printed circuit board orders in April fell 10.2% year-over-year and 27.8% sequentially, says IPC.
NEEDHAM, MA – Despite ongoing concerns around semiconductor shortages, the PC market continues to be one of the many consumer technology markets that is thriving, says International Data Corp. Shipments of PCs are expected to grow 18.1% in 2021, with shipments of more than 357 million units. While IDC still expects PC growth to drop 2.9% in 2022, the overall five-year compound annual growth rate remains positive at 3%.
WESTLAKE, OH – Nordson Corp. reported Advanced Technology Solutions segment sales of $290.8 million, up 17.6% year-over-year. Organic sales increased 13 percentage points, while favorable currency impacts and acquisitions added approximately three and two percentage points, respectively.
