LOUISVILLE, KY – Sypris Electronics reported revenue of $4 million in the fourth quarter of 2016, down 55% year-over-year, reflecting the impact of the sale of Sypris Solutions’ Cyber Security Solutions business. Gross profit was a loss of $1.2 million, compared to profit of $300,000 for the same period the prior year.
LIVINGSTON, SCOTLAND -- Jabil Circuit will close its EMS plant here by year end and lay off more than 150 workers, the company said.
NIS, SERBIA -- Integrated Micro-Electronics (IMI) has igned an agreement whereby the Serbian government will pay it about $7,300 for each of the more than 1,200 employees it plans to hire at its plant in Nis.
