WASHINGTON – IPC released its Global Policy Framework for 2015, outlining public policy priorities to promote a strong manufacturing economy.
GLENVIEW, IL -- Illinois Tool Works' Test & Measurement and Electronics business unit today reported fourth-quarter sales fell 3.3% year-over-year to $541 million.
Organic sales were down 0.5% for the period, the firm said.
For the period, operating income totaled $82 million. Operating margin fell 60 basis points to 15.1% for the quarter ended Dec. 31.
For the year the division totaled operating income of $340 million on revenues of $2.2 billion. Organic revenue was up 1.5% year-over-year, while overall revenue rose 1.3%.
The Test & Measurement and Electronics unit includes such companies as Speedline Technologies, Kester Solder and Vitronics Soltec.
