HANOVER, GERMANY – Viscom posted third quarter revenue of €18.3 million (US$20.2 million), down 17.3% year-over-year.
MINNEAPOLIS – Nortech Systems reported third quarter net sales of $30.1 million, an increase of 1.7% year-over-year.
LOUISVILLE, KY – Sypris Electronics reported third quarter revenue of $6.6 million, up 6.5% year-over-year.
TAIPEI – Yageo plans to purchase Kemet in a $1.8 billion deal, according to reports. The electronic company says it will fund the transaction with cash and committed financing.
CHICAGO – In the third quarter of 2019, large-tier EMS providers’ revenue increased 5.4% year-over-year, compared to an increase of 8.1% in the third quarter of 2018, says Lincoln International. Mid-tier EMS providers’ revenue was up 1.9% in the third quarter, compared to 9% in the third quarter of 2018. Small-tier EMS providers experienced the largest growth, representing 11.6%, versus 9.6% in the third quarter of 2018.
TORONTO – SMTC Corp. reported third quarter revenue of $88.7 million, up 65.2% year-over-year.
