FAYETTEVILLE, AR – EMS firm Delta Group Electronics is building a 36,000 sq. ft. facility here.

The company employs 50 staff at an existing plant in nearby Prairie Grove, which it acquired from Bitworks, but may add more positions.

Groundbreaking is expected in mid-October, with the facility to be finished next August.

Delta Group is headquartered in Albuquerque, and has locations in Rockledge, FL; Dallas and San Diego.

BOUDRY, SWITZERLANDCicor Technologies’ net income rose 10.3% in the first half to $86 million.

The firm’s orders for the period were $90.4 million, up 20% year-over-year.

For the period, the EMS division recorded net revenue of $43.6 million, up 7.9% compared to the first half of 2009. Operating profit was $389,000, compared to a loss of $779,000 last year, when the firm took restructuring costs of more than $1.3 million.
