TAIPEI -- Lite-On Technology reported consolidated revenues of NT$20.6 billion ($652 million) in October, down 7.7% sequentially and up 4% year-over-year.

Half the EMS company's revenue came from IT, PCs, handhelds and related peripherals. Another 23% were from optoelectronics equipment including CCMs (compact camera modules), LED devices and lighting. Nearly 20% of sales were from solid-state or optical disc drives.

Year to date revenues are up 4.4% to NT$186.8 billion.
