YAMAMACHI, CHIRYU, AICHI, JAPAN -- Fuji's Electronics Assembly Equipment division reported net sales for the three quarters ended Dec. 31 are up 37.1% year-over-year.


Year-to-date net sales for the segment are 56.4 billion yen ($463.8 million), while operating income is up 153.4% to 11.3 billion yen ($93 million).

"The growth of new capital investment for PCB production equipment for markets such as smartphone, automotive electronics and industrial equipment has brought strong business," the company said.

ST. LOUIS – Viasystems Group reported fourth quarter 2014 net sales of $308 million, a year-over-year increase of 1.5%, and a sequential increase of 2.9%.
