TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Foxconn Interconnect Technology Limited (FIT), an affiliate of Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn, has agreed to acquire Belkin International for $866 million The deal brings Belkin and its subsidiary brands, Linksys, Wemo and Phyn, under FIT’s ownership, marking a shift into consumer-facing accessories, networking and smart home products.
