NORWAY – Kitron reported second-quarter results, with revenue reaching $187.2 million, driven by continued strength in the Defense & Aerospace market and growth in the Industry sector. The company also raised its full-year outlook on the back of strong momentum and newly secured contracts.
WASHINGTON – Global semiconductor sales reached $59 billion in May, a 27% year-over-year increase, according to data released today by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). Sales were up 3.5% month-over-month from April’s total of $57 billion.
TAIPEI – Foxconn reported second-quarter revenue of $57 billion, a 15.8% year-over-year increase and rebounding strongly from the first quarter. The growth was fueled primarily by soaring demand for artificial intelligence hardware, with its cloud and networking division leading the charge.
