BANG KADI, THAILAND – SVI Public Co. has received a letter of intention from its largest shareholder to make a conditional voluntary tender offer to acquire all the securities of the company.
SAN JOSE – Sanmina’s board has voted to appoint Hartmut Liebel as chief executive officer, effective Sept. 30. Liebel will succeed Michael Clarke, who will remain in an advisory capacity through a transition period.
GRUDZIADZ, POLAND – Kitron has completed a €15 million, 88,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility here. Production is scheduled to start in October, the EMS firm added.
