WESTLAKE, OHIO – Nordson Corp. reported fiscal first quarter sales of $550 million, up 35% year-over-year.
OYSTER BAY, NY – Fourth quarter shipments of voice control front-end devices, such as Amazon’s Echo range and Google’s Home devices, grew 189% sequentially, with 2017 seeing total shipments up 159% over 2016, says ABI Research.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – CyberOptics reported sales of SMT inspection systems declined 31% year-over-year to $4.6 million in the fourth quarter. Reduced demand for legacy 2D products offset higher sales of SQ3000 3D AOI systems, which increased nearly 70% year-over-year to $2.7 million.
