NEENAH, WI -- Plexus last night reported fiscal fourth quarter net income of $24.5 million, up well over last year's $728,000 and the fiscal third quarter profits of $23.2 million. For the period ended Sept. 28, the electronics manufacturing services provider reported sales of $568 million, near the higher side of previous guidance of $545 million to $575 million.
HAWTHORNE, CA -- OSI Systems said strength at its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division drove an overall 14% jump in sales year-over-year in its fiscal first quarter. Sales at the Optoelectronics and Manufacturing unit increased 25% on new programs and customers.
BILLINGSTAD, NORWAY -- Kitron ASA today reported third-quarter revenues fell 5.2% year-over-year to NOK 346.6 million ($58.6 million) on weaker demand. EBIT fell 50% to to NOK 7.6 million, and net profit plunged 37% to NOK 3.2 million.
