ANGLETON, TX -- Benchmark Electronics today reported third quarter net income of $24 million, up 200% sequentially and 26% from a year ago. The contract manufacturing provider said sales for the period ended Sept. 30 were $600 million, down 1.3% from the June quarter and 1.8% from last year.
NEENAH, WI -- Plexus last night reported fiscal fourth quarter net income of $24.5 million, up well over last year's $728,000 and the fiscal third quarter profits of $23.2 million. For the period ended Sept. 28, the electronics manufacturing services provider reported sales of $568 million, near the higher side of previous guidance of $545 million to $575 million.
HAWTHORNE, CA -- OSI Systems said strength at its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division drove an overall 14% jump in sales year-over-year in its fiscal first quarter. Sales at the Optoelectronics and Manufacturing unit increased 25% on new programs and customers.
