ATLANTA – Electronic component market sentiment slumped to 86.0 in August, down 870 basis points sequentially, according to the latest Electronics Component Sales Trend survey from the ECIA.
TAIPEI -- Foxconn reported August consolidated sales of NT448.91 billion ($14.6 billion), an all-time high for the EMS/ODM.
STOCKHOLM -- Mycronic updated its financial targets for the period from 2027 through 2030, with the SMT equipment OEM now forecasting net sales of SEK10 billion ($924.9 million). EBIT will exceed SEK2 billion, the company added.
Mycronic also said it will reduce its own CO2 emissions by 50% by the end of the forecast period.
“After having successfully reached our previous financial targets, we have now set new ambitious growth and profitability targets," said Anders Lindqvist, president and CEO, Mycronic. "In addition, we present the sustainability target alongside the financial targets. We will double net sales and EBIT and in parallel halve our own CO2 emissions. The Group’s EBIT margin shall be above 20%, the individual divisions’ EBIT margin shall be above 10% and we will commit to setting science-based targets.”
