TAIPEI – Global all-in-one PC shipments dropped 4.8% year-over-year to 12.1 million units in 2016, the third consecutive year of declines, according to Digitimes Research.

SINGAPORE – Apple set a new quarterly shipment record in the fourth quarter, contributing 6 million smartphone shipments to a global total of more than 9 million units. Apple’s smartphone shipments grew 12% year-over-year.

TEMPE, AZ -- Amtech Systems reported fiscal first quarter net revenue of $29.1 million, up 31% from a year ago. Solar demand made up $11.4 million of sales, with sales of equipment for SMT and semiconductor processing making up the difference.
