Statshield Smocks are groundable static control garments tested per ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007 requirements. Shield electrostatic charges on clothing from ESD-susceptible items. Long sleeves have conductive knitted cuffs that provide skin contact for grounding in place of wrist straps. Hip-to-cuff grounding permits connection of a coil cord to a workstation ground point for “hands-free” grounding. A tab secures badge holders. Include two sleeve pen pockets. Are polyester with min. 9% carbon conductive nylon fibers woven in chain-link design. Provide panel-to-panel conductivity for continuous charge dissipation. Faraday Cage Effect is created around the torso and arms. Ten sizes are available.
