Is for reading characters on products in automated identification, tracking, and inspection applications. Can convert human-readable characters into machine-readable characters. Reportedly can be adjusted to recognize characters regardless of marking or printing method.  Is capable of reading text printed by inkjet, drop on demand, direct part marking, and more. Can train on character variations and store them in a font library. Advanced character segmentation allows the software to parse characters regardless of uniformity or precision of the print region. Offers image preprocessing. Includes image binarization process that converts grayscale image to a binary image. Supports string matching.
