Column Planarizing Tool is for precise trimming of CCGA solder columns. Locks CCGA in place while columns are planarized.

Operator places CCGA inside of fixture. Internal shim allows columns to slightly protrude through a brass plate on the bottom. Operator holds brass plate face down on rotating abrasive lapping wheel. Within seconds, all columns are planarized. Diamond polishing wheel shines and polishes tips of columns before the CCGA is removed using an extraction tool.
