MasterSil 170 gel is a two-component system with excellent flowability for potting and encapsulation applications.

Possesses mixed viscosity of 1,000cps; has working life after mixing of 2-4 hr. for 100g batch; low exotherm upon cure; easy to dispense. Is solvent-free and does not require exposure to air for cross-linking. Has one to one mix ratio by weight. Cures at 75°F or more quickly at elevated temperatures. Resistant to water and is able to withstand severe thermal cycling without cracking. Has low shrinkage upon cure. Hardness penetration is 65mm.
